Beginner Sewing Course in English – BSE
Dates: February 3rd – February 24, 2026 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM | 4 x 3 hours on Tuesdays
Course fee: 52 000 Ft
This course is for you if you’ve always wanted to learn to sew from scratch. Learn how to use the sewing machine, learn the use of basic sewing tools and create simple and useful items, such as:
- pencil case
- drawstring bag
- shopping bag
- zippered pouch
Group B: The course starts on February 3rd, 2026. from 6 PM to 9 PM. Following dates are: February 10, 17, 24.
Sewing machine and tools are provided, but you need to purchase your fabric. If you would like, I can pick up fabric for you. You will need approximately 2 meters of coordinating cotton canvas in prints or solids.
Course fee is 52 000 HUF for the 12 hour course. Cost of the optional fabric kit is 6 500 HUF.
Your sewing instructor will be Zsuzsi Víg, founder of Stitch Budapest, Fashion Institute of Technology graduate, fashion expert with over 15 years industry experience.
Language of the course: English only, no Hungarian will be used during classes! The class size is limited to 5 people max.
